The Mission: I love music. I think we all love music. You know what else I like? Fanfiction. Yeah, ymmuy fanfiction. You know what would be REALLY cool? Music . . . and fanfiction! Combined! Sweet!
Your mission for this contest is to take one of my fanfics, from any fandom, and create a soundtrack for it. Just a list of songs, and who they're by. That's all. Simple as pie. Though, you know . . . pie is pretty complex. So let's go with simple as a brick to the head. Yeah, that should do.
The Rules: 5 songs to a soundtrack for a one-chapter story, a la The Wishes we make. 10 songs to a multiparter, a la Hunter's Moon. (Almost and Figlio Perduto can be counted as a multiparter, or as single stories) Song choices must be marked with title, artist, and part in the fic they correspond to. PLEASE, no soundtracks for fanpoetry. That would be silly. Contest starts Feb. 20th, 2004 and lasts till Mar. 12 2004.
The Prizes First place winner will be awarded one peice of art of their choice, created and mailed to them physically, along with a mix CD of the soundtrack *I* have in mind for the story (and possibly the winning soundtrack, if I can find the songs). Second place will recieve a peice of art completed and sent over the net. Everyone else recieves internet!brick-to-the-hea-- er, internet!pie.
Entries should be sent to aliellko@indiana.edu. IF YOU REALLY WANT, you can send the actual songs, though it isn't nessacary.
