Vindicate
He turns one last time
Glance glistering
Resplendent
Already dead
Clear and strong and true
Judging
Accusing
Handing me the weight of a world
In a shell of daylight
I hate him for enclosing me
Subjugating me
Yet liberating me
To death
And rebirth
By responsibility
He releases his burden
And sweetly curses me
With his kindness
I still love him
I still kneel in reverence to him
Thanking him for the appalling gift
He gave me
False fatherhood
I am a willing sacrifice
To the love of leadership
